HSI CABS (Child And Babysitter Safety) Babysitter Essentials includes:
- HSI CABS-Child And Babysitting Safety
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certifications
- Both valid for 2 years
CABS:
The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The program teachess how to get started with a business, working with parents and children, key safety, and first aid tips. (Two year certification upon successful completion).
CABS Includes:
- What Does a Good Babysitter Do?
- Babysitting Orientation
- Safety Check
- Playtime Acitivies
- Recognizing Problems
Practice in:
- Handwashing
- Bleeding Control
CPR/AED/First Aid
All Ages CPR/AED: Is intended for indicuduals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers and desire, or are occupaoinally required to be trained and certified in Pediatric First Aid, Adult and/or Child and/or Infant CPR/AED. (Two year certification upon successful completion).
CPR/AED/FIRST AID Includes:
- Elements of high-quality CPR
- Chain of survival
- Recogize when high-quality CPR is required
- How to preform high-quality CPR
- How to provide treatment for a choking adult/child/infant
- Removal of contaminated PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Providing effective rescue breaths susing a CPR mask
- Correctly preforming high-quality CPR
- Use of an AED
- Legal concepts that apply to provding pediatric first aid
- First aid provider's role, responsiblities, and priorties
- Main elements for pediatric first aid and procedure
- How to recognize and provide first aid treatment for injury, medical and environmental emergencies
- Recognize the benefits of a safety-oriented home and workplace culture
Learn and demonstrate:
- Removal of contaminated PPE
- First Aid procedure

Oklahoma Community Credit Union will be provding age-appropriate financial literacy and each participant (with parent or guardian assistance) will have the opportunity open a youth savings account at Oklahoma Community Credit Union.
Successful teens who either open a youth savings account (or have an open or can verify an open/active youth savings account) shall receive a $25 contribution to their Oklahoma Community Credit Union youth savings account - for deposit for deposit only at Oklahoma Community Credit Union.
To qualify teens must:
- Attend, participate, and complete all training
- Open a new youth savings account (or verify an established and active savings account)
- Any student who fails to attend the entrire training, abandons training, or is asked to leave for disruptive behavior will not receive the $25 contribution

All trainings require payment in full to reserve your spot.
We do not allow cancellations once you are enrolled.
You may reschedule if something should arise and you are unable to make the scheduled time and date of your training. Please contact us within 72 hours of the class so we can rebook your reservation at no additional cost to you.
Rescheduling must be to the same course type within 90 days of the original training date. One reschedule per student.
If you "no-show" for your class, there are NO REFUNDS! You will be required to reschedule to another class with a $25.00 "reschedule fee".
